Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of purchase a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. The most significant innovation is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to recognize objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt with ease without leaving any trace that was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.

The design is also more appealing than the other models. It features a sleek, high-end piece that appears like a toy rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great to speed up cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It even managed to take small gravel and sand which other robots aren't able to do. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.

The j7+, while not as smart as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take some time to download updates, and often it's difficult to know whether the update is working until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the best choice is probably hybrid. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. They also come with various additional features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but usually come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not have some of the more luxurious features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's a great choice when you're willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an ideal option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled by the buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map or change the labeling of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also features a large LCD display which is great to have when you're setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people but it will help you keep track of your robot's maintenance intervals with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design is among the top in the market, but it's expensive.

The base station is attractive and hides it when not in use, and its size is quite compact. The station's most appealing factor is its ability to automate various tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive as well. It's the few robot vacuums I've tested that does very well at collecting debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It also can't climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

While it doesn't offer as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price cost.

If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive, but offers more features, such as stair climbing and a full-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets with low pile and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, a Anker company is a long-standing leader of creating robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping functions at a reasonable price. It's easy to setup, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock close to a power outlet and ample space to allow it to move however.

The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it will be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, and features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs an area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

robot vacuum sale  in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from its rivals. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it needs to recharge, it returns to its starting point and begins cleaning from where it started.

The sleek G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life while offering better performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as frequently and comes with a set of boundaries to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30, however is more affordable and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust container does not require emptying as often and it struggles less with heavy materials such as cereal.
